We have a day at sea so I thought it appropriate to show you
around the ship. I'm sure you'll be fascinated!!!
They put these in the lifts (not that we use the lifts!!) so we know what day it is.
Pam in our coffee lounge watching the Great Australian Bight glide past
The coffee lounge
Drinking place for us each afternoon
Where we plan to win the costs of the tour back
Good place for an afternoon drink
Looking out to sea
Champagne bar
Steps from floor four to floor five
Looking from floor four up to floor thirteen (we are on floor 9 - we have walked up and down a million steps this couple of weeks because we are sworn off the lifts!!)
The Windjammer, where we get our breakfast and lunch
Pams favourite piece of the Windjammer
Where we eat breakfast and lunch
We had a swim here this afternoon.
The indoor pool
Cascades restaurant, where we have tea each night
Looks a lot like the ship we were on. We also didn't use the lifts - apart from the fact I hate them, it was a good way to walk off lunch! You should be close to Perth now wouldn't you? How did the Cape go? Hope it wasn't too rough. Or are you near Esperance? Getting confused - not like me at all!
ReplyDeleteJust leaving Esperance at the moment (Thursday evening) and watching the Panthers v Bulldogs game live before we go to tea. We, like you, use the stairs all the time because we need to walk off out lunch. Now all we have to do is find out how to walk off our breakfast and tea and our clothes will fit us when we get home!!! They are predicting bigger seas as we round the corner of WA so we'll tell you tomorrow night how all that goes. We land in Fremantle Saturday morning, spend the night in Perth and leave on the train Sunday morning, arrive Sydney Wednesday morning and fly home to the Gold Coast Wednesday afternoon. Love Pam and Vernon
