Hello from the high seas!! We have internet, had to put down a deposit on a satellite to get it but I’m sure it will all work out in the end.
Arrived in Sydney without a hitch and into Circular Quay
where we are to leave on the cruise component of the trip. Dropped our bags and then had lunch with
Frank and Belinda and Toby (I think Hamish had organised his send-off at daycare today so was unavailable for other social events), wonderful to see them for the final time before their move
to Prague next Friday.
Boarded the Radiance of the Seas at about 3pm and settled
into our room. It all looks very
similar, my only previous cruise was 7 days Canada/Alaska and as luck would
have it….on the same ship!! So we know
our way around, won’t stop us getting hopelessly lost a few times though.
Up on to the top deck to leave Sydney, what a magnificent
site, sailing away from the Quay, past the bridge and Opera House as the sun
set behind the city. Beautiful evening
as we sailed through Sydney Heads in to the Tasman Sea, next stop Wellington in
two days. Dinner at 8 then to bed and
sleep to the rocking of the ship and the sound of waves against the hull.

Hi Pam and Vernon, pics look lovely and going under the Harbour Bridge and out through the heads sure is fantastic isn't it? Looks like it was wonderful weather when you left as well. Hope you're enjoying everything so far, and looking forward to following this latest adventure. Take care and enjoy xoxo
